Starting from the academic year 2024/2025, we will equip EVERY student of the Warsaw School of Computer Science with skills and competences related to artificial intelligence, regardless of the chosen specialisation and level of study.
Competences and skills in the area of artificial intelligence are and will be an important part of every computer scientist’s professional portfolio in the future.
From the academic year 2024/2025, engineering students of all specialisations in the first year will additionally pursue a subject in the first semester as part of their tuition fees: Workshop in programming – Python in AI applications (subject content: data visualisation with the matplotlib package, data processing and statistical analysis with the pandas package, introduction to generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). In the second semester in the first year of engineering studies, students will have the opportunity to pursue the course: machine learning techniques in AI tasks (content: implementation of machine learning processes, testing the effectiveness of machine learning, neural network architectures, learning models based on neural networks).
From the academic year 2024/2025, English language Master’s students of all specialisations in the first year will additionally, as part of their tuition fees in the first semester, realise the AI subject: introduction to AI
