Master studies - Warsaw School of Computer Science

Master studies

Warsaw School of Computer Science offers three MSc specializations within the Computer Science field.

MSc in Cloud Computing, MSc in IT Project Management and MSc in Artificial Intelligence by our School run for either two years (4 semesters) or two and a half years (5 semesters), depending on the intake. We are offering the course in a full-time mode, but classes will be organized in the evenings (from 4:15 pm to 9:30 pm) on weekdays for full-time students so that students can find employment/internships in Poland. Students with full-time student status DO NOT need a work permit in Poland.

Master of Science in IT Project Management

Master of Science in IT Project Management program enables you to gain experience in currently available project management approaches both “traditional and agile” and introduces new possibilities through the use of artificial intelligence, cloud computing and the Internet of Things in IT Project realisation. Because of the evolving character of the IT project management discipline, you will be taught the concepts and skills required to develop new, or enhance existing, procedures to solve IT project management problems.
Recognising the needs of busy professionals, master’s studies at WSCS are conducted in a mixed hybrid mode, i.e. on-site and on-line (the choice is up to you). All classes are recorded and made available to you along with the materials prepared by lecturers, with, specialist units conducted by certified IT project managers.
The program consists of the following core subjects:

  • Information Systems Modeling (Design) & Analysis (UML language, BPMN business notation).
  • Distributed Processing.
  • Advanced Software Engineering (PMI®, DSDM®, Project Quality & Risk Management).
  • Advanced Object-Oriented Design (UML language).
  • Cybersecurity of Information Systems.
  • Advanced Database Systems.
  • ARISA Artificial Intelligence.
  • Data Mining.
  • Mobile Systems.
  • Foundations of Management.
  • Specialized Internship.
  • Master’s Seminars.
