Erasmus+ is an EU programme within which students have the opportunity to gain valuable international experience, develop both academically and professionally as well as improve their language skills. The Warsaw School of Computer Science has participated in activities under Erasmus+ (and its predecessor LLP-Erasmus) since 2007. We have been awarded the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education which provides the general framework for all co-operation activities within the Erasmus+ Programme. Our Erasmus Policy Statement (EPS) is published below.

Erasmus+ enables students to:

  • Study abroad for one semester and receive a grant financed by the European Commission (from 400-500 euro a month)
  • do a 3-month internship and receive a grant financed by the European Commission (from 500-600 euro a month) plus pocket money paid by the company.

The students can travel to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden as well as members of the EEA and EU candidate states that have joined the programme: Iceland, Lichtenstein, Macedonia, Norway and Turkey.
