Academic calendar

There are two semesters a year and within each semester students take a number of subjects with varied credits. Our curriculum is created in such a way that at the end of year one of studies students are expected to gain 60 ECTS and another 60 ETC at the end of year two.

The winter semester runs from October to mid February (with winter examination session in the second half of January).

The summer semester runs from mid February to the end of June with the summer examination session in the second half of June.

Students have a chance to re-sit failed examinations in two additional examination sessions.

There are two short term holidays during the academic year: Christmas and New Year break (2 weeks) and Easter break (one week). There is a long summer break from the beginning of July to the end of September.

Full-time students attend classes from Monday to Friday. Students spend approximately 5 hours a day between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Part-time students attend classes twice a month (from Friday afternoon till Sunday evening).

Detailed calendar will be available two weeks prior to the October 2016 Inauguration Day.
