Warsaw School of Computer Science offers two MSc specializations within the Computer Science field in the academic year 2020/2021 (October 2020 intake):

Master of Science in IT Project Management

Master of Science in IT Project Management program offers students knowledge and skills needed to solve real-world IT project management problems. Project management is the discipline of organizing, securing and managing resources so as to complete the project within the defined scope, time, cost and quality constraints within acceptable levels of risk. The Master of Science in Project Management program, along with a valuable academic qualification, provides students with the professional expertise needed to plan and execute a range of IT projects and to avoid typical pitfalls of missed deadlines and mismanaged resources.

Additionally, the program enables students to gain experience in currently-available project management methodologies and introduces new developments regarding management decision support tools like simulation and artificial intelligence techniques. Because of evolving character of the discipline students are taught concepts and skills required to develop new, or enhance existing, procedures to solve project management problems.

Master of Science in Cloud Computing

Master of Science in Cloud Computing will be realized through WSCS EU funded project called 'Program for educational and staff development of Warsaw School of Computers Science', where students are offered a discount worth 600 € and hence paying a very competitive price for this highly sought for program.

Master of Science in Cloud Computing offers students both theory and practice so that the students can understand and implement cloud based applications. The course will, along with the valuable academic qualification, provide you with the latest knowledge and competencies required by one of the fastest growing global industry - cloud computing. Cloud Computing offers also scalable computing resources on demand, providing solutions and challenges for science and business. Amongst others, the opportunities include a low cost entry point for small companies, more economical use of computing resources and the capability of handling very large data sets. Challenges for practitioners include the design and use of algorithms, the design and implementation of suitable architecture and understanding of risks and opportunities. The MSc in Cloud Computing will provide a sound understanding of designing, analyzing and engineering of systems for handling big data in a distributed environment based on dynamically scalable architectures.

STUDY PLAN 2020/2021

Educational Offer

Sc in IT Project Management and MSc in Cloud Computing courses offered by our School run for two full years (4 semesters). We are offering the course in a full-time mode, but classes will be organized in the evenings (from 4:15pm to 9:30pm) on weekly days for full-time students so that students are able to find employment/internships in Poland. Students with full-time student status DO NOT need a work permit in Poland.
